The Mediterranean Gecko is one of the biggest stoaway geckos of all time. It travels by boats trucks or planes. Of all of the house geckos, the Mediterranean gecko is the most warty of them all. The adults of this species may reach around 5 inches long. Like all house geckos they are rather flattened, with large heads, bulging eyes with vertical pupils and covered with an immoveable clear spectacle. The Mediterranean gecko is usually gray with dark spot or dark brown during the day, and a ghostly white at night. The tail has many dark bands.
